These Terms of Service govern the contractual relationship between BarberClub Mido and customers or users of our website and booking system.

Services & Offerings
BarberClub Mido provides craft barbering, haircuts, beard trimming, contouring, and grooming for men and children at our salon in Gronau (Westfalen).
Our website offers service catalogs, pricing, team profiles, and digital appointment booking.
Individual styling results depend on individual hair texture, growth patterns, and personal preferences.
Appointment Booking & Formation
Appointments may be requested online via our booking system, by phone, or in person at the salon.
Online Booking Workflow
Booking online is available both for registered account holders and as a guest without an account. Submitting the booking form constitutes a binding reservation request for the chosen service and timeframe.
Depending on shop settings, bookings are either automatically confirmed or placed in pending status awaiting confirmation by salon staff.
Once confirmed, a binding agreement is formed reserving that dedicated chair time.
Barber Selection & Availability
Clients can pick a preferred barber or choose open availability. While we make every effort to accommodate preferences, unexpected staff illness may require another qualified barber to step in.
Prices & Payment Terms
All prices on our website and in the salon are in Euro (€) and include statutory German VAT.
Payment is due on-site at the salon immediately following completion of the service.
No online payments or credit card debits are processed through this website.
To be confirmed by owner: Exact payment methods accepted on-site (e.g., Cash, Girocard/EC card, standard debit/credit cards).
Cancellations, Rescheduling & Delays
Because salon time slots are reserved exclusively, we ask clients to arrive punctually or reschedule in advance.
Notice Periods for Changes & Cancellations
Appointments may be changed or cancelled free of charge up to the minimum notice window configured in the system (minimumCancellationNoticeMinutes / minimumRescheduleNoticeMinutes).
Guests can modify or cancel their appointment online using the link containing their digital management token.
Account holders can manage upcoming visits in their account dashboard. Alternatively, cancellations are accepted by phone (+49 2565 9379515).
Client Delays & Late Arrivals
If a client arrives late, we will attempt to provide the service within the remaining time. However, to avoid delaying subsequent clients, service scope may be shortened, or rescheduling may be necessary.
Unexcused Absence (No-Show)
Failing to appear without timely notice deprives other clients of appointments and leaves barber chairs idle.
To be confirmed by owner: Any specific no-show compensation policy under § 615 BGB (currently no cancellation fees are enforced or charged online).
User Conduct & Acceptable Use
Users of our website and booking system agree to the following standards:
- Accurate details: Provide true, complete information (name, email, phone) when booking or signing up.
- Account confidentiality: Keep login credentials safe and private.
- No abusive reservations: Automated bots, script booking, duplicate fictitious reservations, and attempts to compromise system endpoints are strictly prohibited.
- Health information: Inform your barber of any known allergies or skin sensitivities before treatment begins.
Changes or Cancellations by Salon
In rare unforeseen circumstances (e.g., sudden barber illness, facility emergency, or extreme weather), the salon reserves the right to reschedule or cancel appointments.
We will notify affected customers as promptly as possible via phone or email and offer the earliest alternate slot.
Further liability for damages (such as travel expenses) is excluded unless caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
Liability & Warranty
BarberClub Mido is liable according to statutory provisions of German law (BGB):
- Unlimited liability for intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, limb, or health.
- For ordinary negligence of material contractual obligations, liability is limited to foreseeable, contract-typical damages.
- We strive for uninterrupted website access, but technical downtime for server maintenance or third-party network outages cannot be completely prevented.
Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply.
The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
To be confirmed by owner: Declaration on participation in consumer dispute arbitration under the VSBG. BarberClub Mido is neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
